Feminine, fresh and unexpected the Anti-flower collection is derived from a single inspiration enriching the elements from the past into the forecasted modern future. True to its title the orchid represents the anti-flower in the present world. Through its opulence and rich purple hues the collection adds a minimalistic slant with clean lines in its silhouettes. Each ensemble aims to redefine the rules of demure with a modern approach to a pret collection. The prints have been refined to the finest details with raw edge finishes to create the paradoxical shift, thereby embracing romanticism into the fierce modern world.
Leading with a luminous spectrum of purples, lilacs and fuchsia with the visionary stimulus taken from James Turnell’s art movement namely the Ganzfeld effect where one experiences disorientation with unmodulated fields of color. The dizzying repeated prints offer a landscape of amplified reality against the bashful demure silhouettes.
